Thirty6Xposures

Product Sourcing, Event

Project Description

A prominent Toronto-based photographer created the thirty6Xposures Photography Challenge & Documentary Film. With Season 1 complete and Season 2 underway, the producer wanted a thoughtful gift to thank the featured photographers and crew. The gift needed to be practical for everyday use on-brand with 36X’s signature yellow, stay within budget, and offer a distinctive and meaningful touch.

After selecting a tumbler as the gift, We found the Asobu Orb from Adnart—a standout yellow option whose unique shape subtly echoed a Kodak film canister, perfectly nodding to the photography theme. We used a clean,1-colour black logo imprint and utilized the Orb's bold yellow to represent the second logo color and maintain a tight imprint cost. Paired with an existing 36X-branded black trucker hat, the gift kit was both functional and visually impactful. The target audience included the eight featured photographers, crew, affiliates and general public.

On the first day of gathering, the gifts were bestowed upon all 36X members, including the crew and the eight featured photographers. The moment served not just as a gesture of appreciation, but also as a unifying kickoff to the project. The vibrant yellow Orbs became a treasured reminder of the 36X experience. Used on set, after filming, and shared on social media, even featured in documentary footage!

Beyond their practical use, the tumblers served as conversation starters, thanks to their clear branding and high visibility throughout the weekend of filming and in the daily routines of those who received them. This exposure has sparked interest from other photographers eager to apply for future seasons, along with inquiries from potential sponsors and media partners. One standout moment includes an opportunity for conversation with a prominent Toronto-based multimedia outlet, expressing interest in how they can be part of distribution or sponsorship!
