Project Description
YWKW partnered with us to create a sustainable, participant‑driven product that could be sold through their thrift store, supporting skill‑building, independence, and pride. Instead of apparel, we developed seed paper sprouting kits featuring indigenous Ontario seeds and plantable packaging—an accessible, low‑waste option aligned with the store’s audience and values. Participants contributed original artwork inspired by In Her Shoes, with a selected illustration featured on the packaging. The result was a meaningful product created by participants, for others—encouraging creativity, sustainability, and the confidence that comes from giving back and supporting oneself through purposeful work.
